Direct deposit network outage impacting prairie CUs

Early Friday, November 15, 2024, the vendor that provides payment services to most prairie credit unions delayed automatic deposits due to an issue within their network.

UPDATE AT 5:15pm:
All files have been released and deposits will be in member accounts before end of day. We encourage members to review their account balance as well as any scheduled or preset deposits, withdrawals, payments, or transfers to ensure all have processed as expected.

Members who have incurred additional costs, fees, or other charges are encouraged to reach out to their local branch or our Member Solutions Centre at 1.800.264.2926 for reimbursement.

We recognize the significant impact this disruption has caused our members. We thank you for your patience and appreciate your membership.

UPDATE AT 12:45pm:
Our vendor has begun releasing files and deposits have started to process. Given the volume of transactions that require processing, this will take some time to complete.

Our vendor partners are working diligently to restore services as a top priority. Please note that any automatic internal regular scheduled payments or transfers will be retried within 24 hours, including those made through online banking.

Furthermore, this outage is affecting the automated withdrawal of funds for loan payments and other services to different financial institutions. The files have not been processed yet, and there have been no NSF returns. Once services are restored, these payments will be processed without any further delays as long as funds are available.

If you have incurred any NSF charges (or other costs) associated with this outage, please reach out to us for reimbursement.
