A GIC, or term deposit, is a secure, low-risk investment product with a guaranteed rate of return over a fixed period. If risk-free investing is what you need, Access Credit Union has terms available for 1 to 5 years in six-month increments.

In addition, mutual funds provide investors with diversification and flexibility, with automatic contribution minimums as low as $50/month. Mutual funds can be purchased in a lump sum, or over time with a pre-authorized contribution (PAC) plan.
