Access Credit Union Named Top Employer in Manitoba for 8th Consecutive Year
Also Named One of Canada’s Best Employers for Recent Graduates
Manitoba—Access Credit Union has been named one of Manitoba’s top 30 employers for the eighth year in a row, released by the editors and organizers of Canada’s Top 100 Employers on March 15, 2022. In addition, the $6.2 billion credit union cooperative was named one of Canada’s best employers for recent graduates, according to The Career Directory; Canada's longest-running employment guide for new graduates.
Building on Access’ three main priorities—members, people and culture, and future outlook—Access has strived to create a culture of accountability, empowerment, and trust. It is this commitment to a corporate culture that encourages employees to make decisions, share ideas, and develop their careers that has contributed to Access Credit Union earning this award again.
“We have worked hard to build a workplace culture that meets the evolving needs of our staff, who will then meet the needs of our members,” says Larry Davey, CEO of Access Credit Union. “For eight years, this recognition has confirmed that we’re doing the right things to make Access the place everyone wants to be; both for their financial needs and their place of employment.”
As a workplace of choice in Manitoba, Access has created a culture of innovation where employees can test and implement new ideas to overcome challenges and deliver solutions. Other benefits of working at Access include paid training and continuing education, flexible hours and work locations, matched pension plans, competitive salaries, and the opportunity to contribute to community.
