Access Credit Union's statement production partner is implementing an enhancement to its mail tracking process to improve the security, quality control, and traceability of printed communications.
Over the coming months, members may notice a small 2D barcode added to the address block of their monthly statements.
What is the barcode?
The barcode is a production tracking feature used to monitor each mail piece throughout the printing and mailing process. It enables tracking at key stages, including printing, inserting, and mailing, helping ensure documents are produced and delivered accurately.
Does the barcode contain personal information?
No. The barcode does not contain any personal, account, or member information.
It contains only a unique production identifier used within our provider’s secure production environment to support document tracking and quality assurance.
Will this affect my mail?
No. The addition of the barcode will not affect the content, appearance, or delivery of your statements beyond the small barcode itself.
Why is this being added?
The enhancement is part of an ongoing investment in secure and reliable document production. Improved tracking provides greater visibility throughout the production process and supports stronger quality control measures for printed statements.
When will this change occur?
The new tracking system is being introduced gradually over the next three months.
If you have questions about this enhancement, please contact our Member Solutions Centre or visit your local branch.
