Nationwide Rogers network outage impacting banking services

The nationwide Rogers network outage is affecting Interac e-Transfers and several other banking services. This outage started at 1:45 am PT (4:45 am ET) and is ongoing.

Some known components affected include:
  • Automated Funds Transfers
  • ATM service (possible)
  • Bill Payments
  • Business Payments (CRA)
  • Cheque Processing
  • Debit Processing
  • e-Transfers
  • Online Tracing (OLT)
  • Wire Processing (possible)

This will also impact One-Time Passwords (OTPs) sent via SMS (text message) from the desktop online banking and mobile app platforms.
