Members who maintain a balance of at least $5,000 for the entire calendar month will have their monthly fee refunded.
If the balance falls below the balance at any time during the month, the account will be charged.
The exemption balance only applies to the monthly service fee, not all service charges incurred during that month.
Interest calculated daily, paid monthly.

Cheque clearing
Online bill payments
External withdrawals
Debit card purchases
In-branch cash withdrawals and transfers
Pre-authorized transactions to pay CU loans
Transactions not included:
In-branch bill payments
ATM withdrawals outside Canada
In-branch refers to manual withdrawals completed in-branch or by the Member Solutions Centre. Online transfers between Access accounts are free and don't count towards monthly transactions.
