Terms and Conditions

CONTEST PERIOD
The “Realize your dreams” contest runs from January 1 to March 31, 2024. The contest is solely organized and sponsored by Access Credit Union.

ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all legal residents of Manitoba who are of the age of majority at the time of entry into the Contest. Employees and representatives of Access Credit Union or its subsidiaries and affiliates, are not eligible to win, nor is any person of their immediate families, living in the same household as the employee or representative. For the purposes of this contest, immediate family is defined as spouse or common-law partner, and children.

HOW TO ENTER
For every $1,000 locked into any term deposit at Access Credit Union during the contest period, members will receive one prize entry and will be automatically entered into a draw to win. Term deposits must be new deposits and the following term lengths are eligible for the contest: 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, and 60-month terms. The types of investment terms that are eligible for the contest include: Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs); Tax Free Savings Accounts (TFSAs); Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs); or Registered Retirement Income Funds (RRIFs).

PRIZE
The prize is a $3,000 travel voucher. The winning member may choose an airline or travel agency of their choice for their travel gift card.

DRAW DATE
The prize draw will take place after the Contest end date within a reasonable time period. Winners will be notified by telephone or email as appropriate and will be required to prove their identity. Access Credit Union will make reasonable attempt to contact potential winners within 10 business days following the date of the draw. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within the time frame indicated above, the prize will be awarded to an alternate entrant who will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries.

PRIZE AWARDING
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer a time-limited mathematical, skill-testing question. In addition, the selected entrants must sign a Publicity Release, agreeing to the use of their name, photo, voice and/or statements without compensation other than the prize offered.

By entering the Contest, all entrants agree to be bound by the rules of the Contest. If you are selected as a potential winner, you will be provided with specific instructions to claim your prize. Prizes will be awarded only upon verification and final approval by Access Credit Union. No correspondence will occur with entrants except with the selected prize winners.

GENERAL PROVISIONS
The sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify, amend or suspend the Contest and/or the Contest Rules, Terms & Conditions in any way at any time for any reason without prior notice or compensation.

ALTERNATE MEANS OF ENTRY
In accordance with applicable laws, no purchase is necessary. To enter the Contest without purchasing an Access Credit Union product or service, the entrant must legibly hand-print the date, their first and last name, complete mailing address, and daytime telephone number, on a sheet of paper, and mail it to:

All entries become the property of Access Credit Union and will not be acknowledged or returned. Alternate means of participation must be postmarked on or prior to the Contest end date and must be received by the contest end date. Access Credit Union will not be responsible for late, lost, invalid, illegible, delayed, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, or postage-due entries. By using this alternate means of entry, you are providing us with your permission to enter you in the Contest and to communicate with you by telephone. Limit one entry per person.

PRIVACY
By entering this Contest, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of information about you for the purpose of administering this contest in accordance with privacy policies at https://www.accesscu.ca/en/privacy.
